In October, breach detection startup LightCyber launched its Cyber Attack Training System (CATS), one of the newer programs. The system is designed to help train security professionals to identify threats already within the network by providing a live environment for them to hone their skills. The environment allows security professionals to practice tracking down and eliminating an in-network threat before facing the real thing, providing scenarios to practice on from insider threats, to breaches, to APTs, or advance persistent threats. As part of the package, LightCyber also offers training seminars and hacker simulation events.
